I can confirm this worked great on my MacBook Air using FileZilla for my A1 mini.
Here are the instructions pulled together in one place:
- Download FileZilla, if you don’t already have it (Download FileZilla Client for macOS (Intel))
- Get your Printer’s IP address and password for FileZilla
- To do this, tap on your A1 Mini screen
- Tap on Setting(s)
- Scroll down, and tap on LAN Only Mode (just to get IP address and Access Code)
- Write down, or otherise note the Access Code (this is your password for FileZilla)
- Write down, or otherise note the IP address (it’ll be a string of numbers with decimal points, like 10.100.10.1 or 192.168.197.10)
- Open FileZilla
- In the Host enter your printer’s IP address
- Enter the Username as bblp (I’m not sure why, someone above may have mentioned why, but hey! It works! Same with the Port)
- Use 990 for the Port
- Click Quickconnect
- On the right half of your screen look for, and click on the folder called Timelapse
- You can download the files to view them, or delete the files from here if you don’t need them anymore.
- I needed software to view the video files. I used VLC. You can download it from here, if you don’t already have it: https://www.videolan.org
Bonus:
You can also access the sample models that come with the printer in this same folder structure, look for the the folder: “model”.
You can also see the last things you printed, etc. Nerdy fun stuff.
