I recently update my firmwarethe printer is not printing the extrusion calibration lines anymore during Flow Dynamics Calibration. Its still printing.
Try factory reset
AMS reorder (have 2)
Flow Calibration (works fine)
Turn OFF and turn ON
Can someone have the same problem ?
The was a change that removed the rear priming line on the X series. I this what you are referring to?
Can you provide a picture?
Hello Jon !
I think its not this.
In a Simple Way, theres no filament during Calibration. Its like never happened but all the process occurrs.
Everything moves, clean the noze, motion in heatbed, 220 in temeprature but theres no filament out the noozle.
Just to be clear, you are enabling Calibration when sending the print?
Im doing this, to create a profile.
If I just send something to print, everything works. I just cannot calibrate in the calibration screen.
A few threads started popping up in the last days relating to X1’s with 2 AMS. So I dare say AMS/calibration issues have an increased chance of being related to bugs introduced through firmware updates.
Here’s anslighlty different issue which prompted me to suspect FW issues:
I was doing some autocalibrations one day and an error popped up. I can’t remember which one, but it did state that I may have to factory reset for normal operation again. Since that error popped up, whenever I try to do an auto calibration from any slot in that AMS, it doesn’t work. It’ll unload a filament if one is loaded, then heat up and then proceed to do the process with out loading the filament back up. I can do manual calibrations from it, but that’s it. I’ve since reset the machine it’s…
Unfortunately, I haven’t seen a comment on a firmware rollback helping yet… Can’t check myself atm due to workload though…
