New Features:
Added support for powering off the XY-axis and extruder motors while drying filament in the chamber, keeping only the heatbed lift motor powered — delivering lower energy consumption and quieter operation.
Feature Optimizations:
Improved spaghetti detection: Faster detection speed and higher detection rate, with fewer false positives during multi-color prints and prints with complex textures.
Optimized the visual detection algorithm — users no longer need to perform liveview camera calibration.
Optimized the default extrusion compensation parameters for certain filaments, improving print quality in specific scenarios.
Improved the stability and reliability of cloud services.
Please also note that if you find specific issues, bugs, or suggestion for improvement, we would appreciate it if you can share it via the Beta Feedback form.
It’s a pretty diffuse light source already, but I tried as you suggested with a piece of translucent tape. It still does it. I also cleaned the lens and opened the door thinking that the reflection off the door may be causing problems. It must be some algo change in the new FW because I never had this notification unless there was actually something on the bed.
After the update, I’m having the same problem with a third-party carbon fiber-textured plate. The message “Foreign object detected…” appears on an empty table. I tried placing an ArUco code on the plate, but to no avail.
Yep… I have had the same issue since up date ■■■■ me off as had no problems before… I think I need to look into on how to go back to previous firmware… new firmware does nothing for me except errors… I was hoping for improved print quality but no difference there… SOS
