Z Axis fail no fix

I have done just about every fix suggested here and all over YouTube. And I still get failer to z axis home. What is there left to do?

Take a look at this post, it appears a lot of X1C’s run into this Z Axis issue, if this is not the issue you have, can you reply with a bit more details?

Solution: The build plate is not placed properly

Although I am posting this in the P1 section, this remedy applies to all Bambu Lab X1 and P1 Core XY printers. I cannot speak to the A1, as it is a bedslinger with a completely different Z-axis mechanism. As suggested by @Kioto above, check that the plate is in the right position
mine had been off on one side (my fault, I forgot a tool under the plate) and the problem appeared after several weeks
one of the Z axis guide had been pushed up out of position, and prevented the full rise of the plate

@Kioto :thanks for your observations, flash pictures seem to highlight the various reflects on the plate I went back to the printer and swapped for a different plate, and a 0.4 nozzle, before trying a printer auto test the autotest failed with similar code 0300 4000 174717 [image] and next attempt with a slightly different code 0300 4000 174817 [image] full calibration failed too, but with more informative error message about “referincing Z axis failure” [image] 0300d00-020000a-16…
