So I keep getting these random flaws when printing with Matte filament (Bambu, Elegoo, ESun brands) They occur at random locations and random heights. Using standard BL Matte and Generic Matte (both w/ calibration done) profiles. Errors are occurring on multiple printers too, so I don’t think it’s a printer specific issue. Anyone have any ideas? It’s driving me nuts!
Not sure at all on the purple one, maybe a blob on the nozzle there.
The others look a bit like the print may have lifted off the bed, is there any warpage on the bottom?
Might help to have some more visibility of the issues, like the top middle one in your picture.
Look, I don’t mean to sound negative, but this picture provides little value without context. Showing a zoomed-in blemish doesn’t accomplish much. For meaningful feedback, you need to provide context. What model was being printed? What did it look like in the preview screen, and what did it look like at the layer where these artifacts appeared? These issues could be model-induced, related to how the model was positioned on the build plate, or caused by a dozen other factors. The bottom line is, if you want a quality answer, we need more information than just a 2 cm blip—or is it a 20 mm blip?

No, no warping on the print at all.
It’s a model of mine that I’ve printed successfully about 150 times in the past 8 months, the issue is a recent one, and only occurring with Matte filament.
Same as it’s looked every other time I’ve printed it without having these issues, including printing it in Matte filament previously.
This is not helpful. More isolated photos of spots do not offer an opportunity to verify the underlying structure or how it was printed.

Without the ability to analyze the structure, it is very difficult if not impossible to offer help in the form of a correct diagnosis. In the case of these two posts shared above, the members opted to share the complete 3MF file which is ideal for full analysis including printer settings. Think of it like the flight data recorder on an airplane.
But it’s understandable if one doesn’t want to share something they may consider proprietary. In the absence of that, screengrabs become necessary to see what’s going on under the hood.
Not quite sure what you’re wanting me to share since it’s happening at different layers, different locations, and is a new phenomenon. Nothing has changed in the print settings (below) which have been used many times without the issue. Sharing the full model doesn’t help since location is random, like on the left side at layer 95, then on the top at layer 700, then on the back at layer 15. It’s literally all over the place.
OK. I appreciate the effort in posting all those screens. However, that’s not exactly what I am looking for although it is helpful going forward.

First question? Does this happen randomly or in certain locations?
So what your photos do not show is what’s happening under the surface. If there are underlying structures such as reinforcements that the CAD translation performed, it will not show on the outside.
We are effectively X-raying the model with these shots.
If you’re lucky, you will find that there is some specific structure (a seam, a joint, or a thicker part of the model) causing the filament to flow differently. I say “lucky” because the holy grail is to actually identify that issue, as we did in this post I linked to earlier. His issue was easy to spot because he uploaded the model, allowing me to compare what he had on the screen directly in my slicer and illustrate the problem. From there, it was up to him to try different solutions to remedy it. However, hopefully, we saved him a lot of trial and error, which is exactly what this support forum is supposed to be about.
