I ordered 6 rolls of filament on Nov. 1st, I have received 1. The other 5 are still not here, and I only get those AI generated responses from support telling me to wait 7 days. Well, we’re on day 40 now, so…
The site shows a separate order and shipping/tracking info (DPD) for these rolls as opposed to all my other orders that were delivered by DHL.
Uff, thats a long time to wait. I cannot understand how @BambuLab is not adressing the problems that causes those shipping delays. It is even worse that they reply with auto-generated messages and provide arbitrary shipping delay estimates that do not reflect the actual situation.
The only thing that can be done right now is to to put the lack of customer service into the overall evaluation of their otherwise excellent printers. Maybe they will adept their poor customer service in the future then.
My last package finally arrived.
It was not an official Bambu Lab box as all my previous orders.
It was an used box, full of semi-covered shipping labels but two: one the correct label of my order and another one from the previous user: TEMU.
It was a previously used TEMU box.
Unveliable.
Order: 30.11.2024 => “On the way” (lie, just the dpd label was created)
Order: 06.12.2024 => Nothing
The busy holiday season … yahyah

Also ordered november 30th. At least my filament was sent out last night.

Same for me, the filament arrived within a week, but my A1 printer has not even left their warehouse.
I didn’t know Temu used boxes, I’ve only gotten things jammed into bags.
This is hitting a new time low… Check this reddit thread about what bambu supports supposedly sent to a customer as a response when he tried to file a return / refund / cancelation.
Not only it is faked as it is illegal if they really sent a private DPD letter to their customers, that breaks major laws in Germany with the GPDR.
The DPD letter that Bambu “claims” to have gotten has also many errors in the way it is written and it does not seem German at all. Also has watermarks of some sort in Chinese.
Since i got no way of updating the main topic created by Bambu because my permission to edit my own answer was removed since yesterday, i’ll try and update here.
Today i also got in contact with the logistics company that Bambu uses here in Germany and even if they can’t give private information, they will try and update me with some parts of the information that they can provide. The logistics also serve other companies, not only Bambu. Stock is an issue right now, that’s one.
I ordered on 12/4 a mix of filament and supplies including the new PLA wood. Some of the filament that is not your basic filaments shipped and will be here tomorrow. The rest of the basic PLA and some rolls of ABS have not shipped yet. I really need that ABS for some orders I need to print. I am in Missouri, US
uff sorry to hear you’re still waiting… they definitely dropped the ball planning for the black friday / holidays season… it’s pretty ridiculous… I had the same situation with Sovol, but at least after raising a dispute on paypal they responded to my ticket and i just got a refund
the lack of proper forecasting and planning is crazy, bambu is not a garage based company, they should be able to hire competent people to strategise their sales and inventory management
I mean, i am not mad per se… just disappointed to be honest.
Finally gave in and ordered a X1C to join my other printers since i really needed this one and fast. So i did several coupons rebate to minimize the order and paid 500€ from my own money, that for me, as a family man, is already considered too much.
I knew it would be slower to ship and was counting on it, but was not expecting this kind of behaviour from a company like Bambu.
What did it for me, was the fact that they left their most valuable consumers in the dark and then, weeks later, blamed other companies for their mistakes. Honesty is what makes a company valuable, not only money and annual earnings. Right now they are as low as creality for me.
Sadly i can only do a chargeback of those 500€ and i know they will not be upfront honest and give back those used coupons, in the value of 760€, or else i had already filled the papers for the chargeback and would have bought it from a local shop and keep the coupons for another time. At least i could go spend Christmas with the familly and drive those 2000Km without having to think about it. Instead i will have to be here and wait for the printer to come and will miss Christmas with the family that we didn’t see for 2 years.
Lesson learned. It’s not about Christmas, it’s not about taking my money, it’s about honesty and blaming others instead of showing balls and taking the hit themselves.

I ordered filament on the 3rd. Still hasn’t shipped. I am a manufacturer/retailer, so I totally understand delays this time of year. But, just communicate! And, make the communication personal - about the specific order - not just a general canned response. That’s it. That is all you have to do, and customers are willing to be patient about 98% of the time in my experience.
Here are the four steps I advocate based on my experience:
1-Proactively write customers who are facing an added delay of more than a few days.
2-Apologize and explain what is causing the delay. Be honest and specific, not cagey or over-general.
3-Tell the customer when they can expect to see that their package has shipped - even if it is a week from now. Much better to give real info than reassuring generalizations.
4-Nicely thank them for their patience, but don’t use fake effusiveness.
I placed an order for 6 rolls of filament and CMYK light board on Nov 30, still no update on shipping today Dec 11. Second order placed Dec 3 for 2 rolls of filament, CMYK light board, and lamp kit, and received 1 roll from that order on Dec 9. I’m hoping I get them soon because the light boards are needed for Christmas presents.
