Woo! Sale is on! Ya’ll getting anything fun/in particular?
I got lots of screws, but those aren’t on sale I am happy though that the nozzles and stuff were. I am finally able to finish out my parts kit with all the spares I want for nozzles. Hope to pick up a second AMS unit before the sale is over! I got lots of extra filament for prototypes too so I don’t have to use up my fancy colors. I’m going with PLA Basic blue gray for my prototypes. Black is too black and white is too white. I need something in the middle.
They change the terms when they added the AMS to the sale.
Notice the addition of the AMS below, previously it was just printers.

The first redemption was for all printer units, that included the combo units obviously.
Then they added the AMS units themselves into the sale as they reacted to social outreach.
They updated the wording as shown above.
U.K. consumer law requires them to offer the difference or a refund. I doubt anyone needs to go legal though as they they offered the discount ahead of time.
I suspect the issue is related to them adding the change after they asked people to make their claim and their claim system thinks the previous claim on the same order has been fulfilled despite the change made by the marketing people.
Essentially, I think someone needs to tweak the claim system that automates the refund.
of course,… I ordered my P1P and AMS on the 15th…Had I known there would be a sale I would have waited and either added an A1 to the mix or gone with an X1C…
I have a printer in my cart, but currently “express checkout” is not loading, and the only countries listed in the dropdown menu are Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Ended up buying an A1 mini, spare plates, nozzles, and a couple of hardware kits. Figured now’s a good time to just spend my few MakerWorld points since they aren’t coming in like they used to and I was planning on getting a mini anyways.
I received my $160 AUD voucher yesterday because i bought a P1S combo the day before the sale. Due to be delivered today.
However they now say that the discount applied to AMS is also refundable.
Can i apply for a second voucher ?
I’m not allowed to start a new topic in any of the channels for some reason, so i’m going to have to reply to this one.
With a bit of money in vouchers after the sale ( $210 AUD hopefully) what are the must buy accessories for a P1S and AMS combo.
Sure I can stock up on filament, but are there any other things that you recommend ?
Some extra Maker Supply electronics, couple rolls of PLA Matte, a roll of PLA Glow and Silk to try them out as well as a CMYK bundle and 0.2 nozzle for my brother.
Placed my order nice and early this morning, already have my tracking number
If you’re like me and can’t solder your way out of a wet paper bag, you’ll love these solderless electronics. Gives you the ability to do so much more with your designs. You won’t be disappointed.
I keep seeing cool designs people have made using these parts kits, so I figure I should get on board myself. Plus with how my brain works, I only design parts based upon what I have and having these parts kits on hand will increase my creativity.
To anyone interested or who enjoys reading what I have to say (in my head that is everyone)…
You can get a price difference on your printer (or printer combo) AND additional AMS units you purchased.
I have just been granted the price difference between the sale and pre-sale of the AMS unit I purchased.
£130 price difference refund into a gift card for the P1S combo
£50 price difference refund into a gift card for the additional AMS
I had to speak with “Live Chat”, something I rarely enjoy, however, despite my misgivings, it went well and quickly.
As I suspected, the price difference refund form that processed the price difference for my P1S combo can’t then process the price difference for the AMS unit. It appears the late change of heart by BL by including the AMS in the sale meant anyone who applied for the price difference for the printer (as a combo or on its own) can now not (at the time of writing) also use the same form to apply for the price difference for the AMS unit.
Rose on Live Chat manually made the price difference application and was authorised without issue.
So, for those paying attention.
If you purchased a printer or printer combo and have previously applied for your price difference before the AMS was included in that price difference, you can still obtain it. Use the Live Chat, it took 10 minutes of waiting followed by three minutes of typing, but it was sorted.
